Entertainment Alternatives in San Bernardino, CA

San Bernardino has three major events; the annual Route 66 Rendezvous - a multi-day classic automobile event held in downtown San Bernardino each September, the National Orange Show - held each April/May, and the Western Regional Little League Championships - held each August.

The California Theater of Performing Arts holds cultural events, including touring Broadway theatre, presented by Theatrical Arts International and the San Bernardino Symphony.

Museums
The Heritage House holds the collection of the San Bernardino Historic and Pioneer Society, and there are exhibits relating to the history of San Bernardino in the the San Bernardino County Museum, in Redlands, California (which also includes a diorama of the Mormon Fort). A museum is located on the site of the first McDonalds, and also located in the city is the Inland Empire Military Museum.

Parks and Recreation
San Bernardino also has many parks and recreation centers. Perris Hill Park is the largest and most well-known park, with a YMCA, a senior center, a pool, tennis courts, Fiscalani Field, and the Roosevelt Bowl.
